data backup is a service CinoFusion provides to protect your company’s
vital information. The biggest benefit to keeping your data stored offsite
is that your data is kept secure even if the worst happens to your business,
such as a fire or theft. You are in control of what information is backed
up, and when it is restored. This eliminates the risk of losing your
critical data, and can keep you in business.
In
today’s business environment, instant access to information is

to studies by the University of Texas and the U.S. Small Business Administration.

How
it works
When
you sign up for CinoFusion’s remote data backup you will have
total control over what information is backed up. You have two options
when selecting files to be stored, software-based or web-based. Our
software-based method is ideal for companies that want to store entire
systems, and wants to have a backup scheduled regularly. The web-based
interface is great for individuals who do not want to install software,
or only have a few items to backup on an occasional basis.

the software to schedule a regular backup of the files you have selected.
At that scheduled time, CinoFusion’s remote data backup system
will retrieve your selected files, encrypt and send them over the Internet
to two independent Level-5 Raid storage units, located 1000+ miles apart,
in CinoFusion’s two secure datacenters. CinoFusion takes an extra
step to provide you with as much assistance as possible when you need
it most. In addition to re-writing your files each day on the Raid stack
where you will have instant access to yesterday’s files, your
files will be transferred to tape daily. This gives you access to yesterday,
last week, and last month’s files on a 12-month cycle. The final
step in CinoFusion’s data protection plan is to write a CD with
1 month of data (usually the last month of the 12 month cycle), which
is stored off-site in a security deposit box in a bank vault.
If
you only have a few files to backup or have one-time files, you have
the option to utilize the web-based application to select the files
and immediately backup that data in the same manner as described above.
Redundancy
is crucial when storing important information. CinoFusion takes these
extra steps to simplify the process for you. When you trust your data

your office, your data is still safe and ready for retrieval.
